Barbara Jeter

Barbara J. Jeter, 72, born February 13, 1944 in Dayton, OH to James and Roberta (Hudson) Jeter. Barbara went to be with the Lord August 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. She loved her children and grandchildren, liked to watch her game shows, eat at Red Lobster, shop at stores, and the Home Shopping Network. She was a nice, loving person, who gave from her heart and never expected anything in return. Barbara was a great woman of God who can now be healthy and happy in the arms of the Lord. She is survived by her two children, Roberta Jeter of Beach Park, IL and Mark (Sabrina) Jeter of Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren, Derrick Ballard, Mark Jeter, Samaree Jeter all of Virginia Beach, VA, and Amaya Reyes of San Angelo, TX; one sister, Doris Adams of Dayton, OH; one brother, Rodney Jeter of Dayton, OH; nephew, Anthony Edmonds of Dayton, OH; niece, Lisa Hill of North Carolina, and special cousin, Patricia Clarke of Dayton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dolores Jeter and Phyllis Jeter, and her dog, Kobie. Visitation is Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Interment will be private.
