Audrey P. Nash, age 79 of Gurnee, IL went home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2018. She was an avid bowler and had just begun her season with the Fun Seekers, with an average of 155. Bowling was her biggest passion, which she did well. She was also a person of service. She retired from the VA Hospital after many years of taken care of many veterans. She was a devoted mother and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Audrey was born November 15, 1938 in Chicago, IL before finally settling in Gurnee, IL. Upon her retirement, she continued her journey of being of service, and her love of God. Audrey leaves behind, four sons: Sidney Rogers Patterson Nash, Eddie (Resa) Nash, Richard (Deborah) Nash, Kurt (Margie) Nash, four daughters: Valerie Nash, Veronica (Angel) Sanchez, Victoria Wedemeyer, and Valiza (Heidi) Nash. Siblings: Marjorie McBeth, Bessie McCormick, Raynold Patterson, and Stanley Patterson. Audrey also had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kurt Barnard Nash, parents: L.C. Patterson and Theaster Cheers Patterson; brother, Jesse Patterson and sister, Delores Griffin.
Audrey had beloved friends: Delores Russell, Evonne, Dorothy (Dot) Clark, Ann Clark, and Katherine McKissick.

Friends and Family may visit with the family at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 5:00-8:00PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 11:00AM at Warren Funeral Home with a second visitation at 10:00am until time of service. Interment will take place at Warren Cemetery immediately following services.
