Anna Eugene

Anna Marie Eugene, 91, of Beecher, IL passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, IL. She was born on April 25, 1919 in East St. Louis, IL. On April 14, 1937 in Chicago, Anna married Arthur J. Eugene. She is survived by her five loving children, Lee Eugene of Beecher, IL, Daniel (Patricia) Eugene of Schaumburg, IL, Judith Taxis of Crete, IL, Joan (Jim) Butryn of Wood Dale, IL and Gene (JoAnn) Eugene of Wausau, WI; eight grandchildren, Cynthia, Kevin, Kathleen, Linda, Brooke, Crystal, Max, Alexis; four great grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsey, Skylar and Cody. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Roy and Lytha Ellen (nee Davis) Travis, husband who passed away on January 18, 1970, Arthur J. Eugene, four brothers, Jesse Travis, Harold Travis, Edgar Travis, Eugene Travis and one son-in-law, Duane Taxis. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm at Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home, 9568 Belmont Avenue, Franklin Park, IL. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor William R. Swanger officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
