Andrew Dolan

Andrew Gerard Dolan, 51 of Gurnee passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.

He was born on May 4, 1968 to James and Marguerite (Donnelly) Dolan in Lutherville, MD.  On September 5, 2003 he married Julie Catalanello in Deerfield, IL.  Andy was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Gurnee.  He loved spending time with his family including his dogs.  He enjoyed watching his children play sports and was very proud of them.  Andy’s hobbies included golfing, barbecuing, and doing yard work.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Julie, his children; Drew, 14, Megan, 11, and Sean Dolan, 9, his mother Marguerite and her husband Leo Carter, his brother, Jim Dolan and his sister, Patti (Jeff) Dunlap, his mother and father-in-law, James and Shirley Catalanello, his sister-in-laws; Kris (Mark) Monroe and Kelly (John) Piechocki, his brother-in-law, Mike (Cara) Catalanello and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father James Dolan on May 15, 2000.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church located at 6401 Gages Lake Rd. Gurnee, IL.  Funeral services will be at noon on Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andy’s name to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
