Ana Lydia Ramos-Gonzalez, 75, of North Chicago passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Lake Forest Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1935 in Santurce, Puerto Rico.
Survived by her eight loving children, Modesto "Mark" Ramos, Jr., Ana Ramos, Cindy (George) Mcclary, David (Anne) Gonzalez, Maria "Lucy" Gonzalez, Antonio Ramos-Gonzalez, Luis Gonzalez and Jose "Danny" Gonzalez; brother, Luis (Raquel) Rivera; sister, Virginia (Pedro) Padillo; 18 grandchildren, Rafael, Amia, Zakiesha, Isaac, Queona, LaShondra, Rebecca, Hailey, Patrick, Hannah, Roberto, Chantel, Shelena, Lydia, Antoinette, Dihna, Nicholas and Angel; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, Ementerio Rivera and Geronima Alvarado, husband, Modesto Ramos-Gonzalez, Sr. and sister, Ana Rivera.
Ana was a Bible teacher for many years and prayed over the sick.
Visitation is Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 11:00am-1:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Memorial services are 1:00pm, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the funeral home. A private family interment will be at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee at a later date.
