Alleston See

Alleston "Al" See, 80, of Grayslake passed away January 28, 2012 at home. He was born July 4, 1931 in Middletown, Virginia. On November 22, 1987 in Grayslake, Al married Marilyn Tiernan.

Survived by loving wife of 24 years, Marilyn See; sons, Timothy (Jane) Tiernan, David (Cyndi) Tiernan, Robert (Chelle) Tiernan; son-in-law, Terry Edwards; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Mose and Ida See; first wife, Cathrine Jolly; daughter, Lori Edwards; brother, Wilbert See; sisters, Vesta Nethers, Della Byers and Treva See Cook.

Al was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean and Vietnam War, retired as Master Chief, member of the VFW in Libertyville and the F.R.A.

Visitation is Friday, February 3, 2012 from 11:00am-2:00pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N, Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Friday at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Pastor Chris Stephens officiating from Gurnee Community Church. Interment in Winchester, Virginia.
