Alexis Carrion

Alexis Roberto Carrion, 19, of Gurnee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2009. He was born on October 18, 1990 in Manati, Puerto Rico. He leaves to cherish his loving family, his parents, Alexis and Susanne A. (Treacy) Carrion of Gurnee; brother, Billy Carrion of Gurnee; sister, Roselyn Sue Carrion of Gurnee; paternal grandparents, Roberto and Carmen L. (Rivera) Carrion of Ceiba, Puerto Rico; maternal grandparents, Gary L. and Rosabel (Vergara) Treacy of Ceiba, Puerto Rico; uncles and aunts, Gary (Yomary) Treacy, John Treacy, Carmen Cortez, Trevor Treacy, Melvin Carrion, Neysa Carrion and Yarmina Carrion; cousins, Anthony Negrin, Marcus Treacy, Gary Treacy, Nathan Treacy, Brian Treacy, Jonathan Treacy, Jesus Roberto Negrin, Yohari Figueroa and family friends, Julio and Martha Argueta. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Leisha Figueroa. Alexis enjoyed the outdoors, loved bugs, birds, flowers, playing video games and watching his sister ice skate. He always had a big smile, was a very happy boy and always treated everyone the same. We are going to miss him so much. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 4-8 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 11 am with one hour of visitation prior to services. Pastor Josh Petersen from Immanuel Church in Gurnee will officiate services. Interment will be private.
