Albin Nelson Robb, 91, of Gurnee passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, and was a resident of Winchester House in Libertyville. Albin was born on February 12, 1919 in Greenwood, Wisconsin to Ralph Nelson and Edith (Rogers) Robb. On June 2, 1984 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Albin married Lorraine Joyce Klinesmith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lorraine Joyce Klinesmith-Robb of Gurnee; two step-sons, Kurt (Sarah) Klinesmith of Manitowoch., WI and Gary (Hyra) Klinesmith of Green Clove, Florida; five grandchildren, Marya Plank, Alex Klinesmith, Kyle Klinesmith, Rocky Klinesmith and April Klinesmith; nephews, Leo (Florence) Wiesner, Mike Wiesner and niece, Marge Wiesner. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Alvin Robb and sister, Neva Wiesner.
Albin was a United States Army veteran, and in 1944 during WWII, he earned a Purple Heart. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kenosha, WI.
