Albert Leonardi

Albert J. Leonardi, 88, of Gurnee, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at his home. He was born on February 1, 1921 in Flushing, Ohio to Joseph and Mary Leonardi. He married Harriet Owsiany on February 16, 1952. Albert is survived by his loving children, Ric (Terry) Leonardi of Gurnee, Randi Leonardi and Sandi (Joe) Japczyk both of Chicago and grandchildren, Brian, Lisa and Jeff Leonardi. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. Albert was a member of the Carpenter's Local Union #181. He was a US Army Veteran. Family and friends met on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 4-8 pm at Warren Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial followed at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.
