Albert Hughes

Albert Devon Hughes, 34, of Zion, passed away suddenly Friday, December 14, 2012 at home. He was born July 24, 1978 in Chicago to Albert Hudson and Maryanne McClain. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Albert Devon Hughes, Jr., Amilion Hughes, A'Rahji Hughes and Millicent Stiger; significant other, Thelmalya Young; father, Albert (Karen) Hudson; mothers-in-law, Adrienne Stiger and Rhonda Thomas; brothers and sisters, Truman Hughes, Sheree Whigham, Dana Hughes, Miguel Hughes, Paul Gottberg, Tiffany (Joseph) Thompson, Albert Gottberg and Nicole Gottberg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maryanne (McClain) Hughes; sister, Tijuana Hughes; brother, Nathan Hudson; paternal grandmother, Mae Hudson and father-in-law, Arvie Thomas. Albert was a great father and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30 am with one hour of visitation prior to services at Christian Assembly of God, 2929 Bethel Blvd., Zion, IL. Interment is private at Warren Cemetery, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Gurnee, IL. Memorial donations may be made to Dymphia Stiger in memory of Albert.
