Albert Easton

Albert M. "Sonny" Easton, 77, of Gurnee died June 28, 2010 at the VA Hospital in North Chicago. He was born on April 10, 1933 in Highland Park, IL. On May 2, 1959 in Highwood, IL, Sonny married Loretta Lenzini. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Loretta Easton of Gurnee; children, Gene Easton of Bristol, WI, Thomas Easton, MariJo (Jim) Easton Bednarz of Gurnee and AnnMarie (Thomas Laufenberg) Easton of Tempe, AZ; grandchildren, Samantha Bednarz and Jamie Bednarz; brother, Allan (Cindy) Harder of Crystal Falls, MI; sister, Edith Karger of Highwood, IL; sister-in-law, Joanne Easton of Cape Coral, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cassius, Sr. and Clara (Mitchell), son, Glen Easton who died in 1980, brothers, Cassius Easton, Jr., Robert Easton and sister, Katherine Harder. Sonny served in the United States Navy from 1952 - 1956. He was a member of the FOP #66, the Illinois Police Association and the American Legion Post #738. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 6:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield, IL at a later date.
